In a few days, the city of Anadia (Portugal) will once again be the capital of European cycling, especially in the Juniors and Under 23 categories with both the MTB European Championships (6-9 July) and Track (11-16 July).
The event wil be a great opportunity for the host city as for ten days over 800 athletes will compete in the scheduled races making a signicant impact in terms of people visiting the city.
Over the years, the city of Anadia has hosted very prestigious sporting events, especially in the Youth category, starting with six editions of the Track Championships from 2011 to 2022, a round of the BMX European Cup (2021,) and is home to the World Cycling Centre Satellite Centre and various facilities (velodrome, BMX track, MTB, Modern Penthalon, Judo, Fencing and Gymnastics) making it one of the most pioneering and modern centres for sports training, also because of the various hosting facilities especially designed for sports activities.
