CANCELLATION OF BMX EUROPEAN CUP, SARRIANS (FRANCE)

Following the announcement made today by the French Prime Minister, Jean Castex who outlined the new measures against coronavirus, 42 departments are now in the red zone, where the virus is actively spreading. Therefore, the Union Européenne de Cyclisme in agreement with the French Cycling Federation (FFC) and Team BMX Sarrians has decided to cancel the third and fourth BMX European Cup race in Sarrians (France) on 19 and 20 September 2020.

The decision was taken in order to protect the health of competitors and everyone who would have come to watch a major event like the one in Sarrians.

During this difficult time for the whole of France, the Union Européenne de Cyclisme would like to thank the organisers, who for months have worked with great passion and professionalism in order to ensure a high level of safety at this event, which cannot be held due to the current situation.
